Why did we do this?
We created the LifeGiver because we care.
Sure, we like to install new units. That's our business.
But do you know what we like even more? Taking care of people.
We treat you right-recommending what's in your best interest-because it's what people should do. We do it so that we can sleep at night and because were from Milwaukee.
We believe that if we save you some money now- and keep your system running this summer- you'll remember us when it's time for that new system. And you can count on our honest recommendation about what's right for your situation now and what types of unit will best serve you in the future. We might have given this service a fancy new name. But this has been the core of our approach since 1979... when Dad started D&M.
The Process

AC Cleaning
The D&M LifeGiver involves inspecting and cleaning your AC. Dirt is the silent killer of your AC system—especially in an older unit.
The regular buildup of dust and day-to-day operation can make your filter and the internal lines of your AC dirty. This adds stress to your system, making it run harder—being not only less efficient, but potentially decreasing how long you can expect it to last. The longer your compressor and motor are overworked, the shorter your air conditioner’s lifespan.
Extended Lifespan
The LifeGiver cleans and recalibrates your system with the goal of extending its life and making it run more efficiently. And while we’re cleaning and inspecting the unit, our qualified technicians can provide you with their honest opinion of how you’re looking and the best options for you moving forward.
Sometimes this involves squeezing an extra season or three out of an older unit, sometimes its scheduling next year’s annual maintenance to keep your system running like new. Sometimes this means talking about when you might consider a new system.
